This is great! Thanks for sharing!

This is handy but, does anyone know of a way of generating a screen shot of the active IE window when the test script is running?

Sys.Desktop.Picture()

Grabs the entire desktop whereas I only want the active IE window? This can be a pain especially if you have a dual monitor setup - BOTH screens get dumped!

Cheers,

Andy

Hi Andy, you can get a picture of any window by using the Picture() method of the window object. So you can do Log.Picture(w1.Picture()). I'll write up a post on it this week and explain in more detail.

Any idea how to do it in asp.net in vb.net please?

Renald, webshot is a command-line program. Here are instructions on how to execute a command line shell application from asp.net/vb

Could I use this program with compiled .aspx sites written on asp.net 2.0? I need to input the URL in command-line prompt, but the .aspx URL may not load if it is mentioned directly in some cases, for example, if user previously not inputed username and password. So I may see recorded actions in TestComplete, but screenshots are always made for the first page where Username and Password is situated. Could you suggest something? Your program is very good, but maybe I am doing something wrong and can't go to some pages?
