I started using a skelton HTML file in my favorite text editor to create posts. It saves a lot of time. I write the post locally in my text editor, then I login to the blog, create a new post and cut and paste the text into the HTML interface.

Here is the skeleton blog post, just save as and edit locally instead of using the slow web editor:
