Automated Build Studio Operations - Microsoft Virtual Server Category

The Microsoft Virtual Server category includes the following operations:

Operation Description
Capture/Release Virtual Machine’s Device (Virtual Server) Captures a CD, DVD or floppy drive making it available to a virtual machine, or releases a drive that has been captured previously.
Discard/Merge Undo Disks (Virtual Server) Discards or merges changes that are stored in the undo disks file.
If OS Is Loaded (Virtual Server) Executes the child operation(s) if the operating system was loaded successfully on the virtual machine running under Microsoft Virtual Server 2005.
If Virtual Machine Is ... (Virtual Server) Executes the child operation(s) if a virtual machine running under Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 is in a particular state.
If Virtual Machine’s Device Is ... (Virtual Server) Executes the child operation(s) if a virtual machine’s CD, DVD or floppy drive is in a particular state.
Pause/Resume Virtual Machine (Virtual Server) Pauses or resumes a virtual machine running on Microsoft Virtual Server 2005.
Register/Unregister Virtual Machine (Virtual Server) Registers or unregisters a virtual machine in Microsoft Virtual Server 2005.
Reset/Shutdown/Turn off Virtual Machine (Virtual Server) Resets or turns off a virtual machine running on Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 or shuts down the operating system on the virtual machine.
Run Virtual Machine (Virtual Server) Runs a virtual machine on Microsoft Virtual Server 2005.
Save State/Discard Saved State (Virtual Server) Saves the state of a virtual machine running on Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 or discards the saved state.
Send Key Sequences (Virtual Server) Simulates the given series of keys being typed (pressed and then released) inside the virtual machine running under Microsoft Server 2005.
Virtual Machine Enumerator (Virtual Server) Obtains a list of virtual machines installed on a virtual server and executes child operations for each machine in the list.
Virtual Machine’s Device Enumerator (Virtual Server) Obtains a list of devices installed on a virtual machine and executes child operations for each device in this list.

To execute the desired Microsoft Virtual Server operation successfully, Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 must be installed on your computer. Otherwise, an error will occur.
