What’s new in AQdevTeam 1.8

AQdevTeam now traces changes made to the Assigned to item field. These changes are displayed in the Audit Trail panel along with changes made to the item’s status. The Database Options dialog contains a new option, Track changes in the Assigned To field, that let you enable or disable tracing changes in the Assigned To field.
The TGridControl component that is used to modify item fields of the Grid type now contains toolbar buttons that let you create and remove child nodes and change the node’s order. The component also supports the Ctrl-Up and Ctrl-Down shortcuts for changing the order.
AQdevTeam Client now supports Windows Vista (however, AQdevTeam Server for ADO and AQdevTeam Server for InterBase do not support this operating system).
The Permission preview functionality has been improved.
The speed of functioning and data transfer has been increased.
Controls and fields that show user names (Assigned to, Reassign to, Project manager and others) no longer displays users, whose Enabled attribute is off, unless that user is already specified in the control (or field).
When viewing an attachment in the Edit or Preview Form, you can select the application that will be used to open the attached file.
The ItemRecord object contains a new AddHTTPAttachment method that you can use to attach URLs with the desired item from scripts.
A new EventInfo object provides you with information about the event that launched the macro. This object can only be used in macros launched by events.
Now it is possible to execute server and shared client macros on a single client computer. The new Local Event property lets you specify the associated server or shared client macro to only run on the client computer where the event occurs.
The server engine has been improved for working with a large number of items stored in the database (more than 65 000).
Fixed problems with data synchronization.
Fixed problems with the Issue Explorer and Full Text Search panels.
Fixed bugs with HTML fields (there were problems with data loading and preview).
A number of other bugs have been fixed.
