AQtrace - What Error Reports Contain

The error reports generated by AQtrace help developers understand what went wrong and find the cause of the problem faster. Each error report contains:

Exception code and address.
Information about all threads that existed in your application when the exception occurred.
The stack of function calls for each thread.
The values of CPU registers including floating point, MMX, SSE and SSE2 registers.
Information about all off the modules that were loaded into your application during the run.
Memory dump.
Problem description, that is included into the report by the end-user.

Depending how the AQtrace settings are configured, the reports also contain the following data. You can exclude some of this data from the reports to decrease the report size:

Lists the processes that were running in the operating system when the exception occurred.

Information about the operating system, service packs, .NET Framework versions, the user account, keyboard layouts and languages.

Information about CPU(s).

Detailed information about the exceptions that occurred earlier during the application execution (the exception that generated the report may be caused by another exception or exceptions that occurred earlier).

Image of the application’s main window or of the entire screen.

Complete information about memory usage on the end-user's computer (memory load, the total and free amount of physical memory, size and usage of the page file and so on).

Information about hard disk space (total and free).

Complete information about the services that were registered in the operating system when an exception occurred (service name, type, control codes, start type, user account and much more).

Detailed information about display devices installed on the end-user's computer (name and description, color resolution, width and height in pixels, display orientation, frequency and so on).

Detailed information about the printing devices connected to the end-user's computer (name and description, port, page size and orientation, resolution (dots per inch), paper source and so on).

Information about the end-user computer’s address, domain, DNS servers and other network settings and about network adapters installed on the computer.

Detailed information about the security permissions of the user's Windows account.
