TestComplete 6 FAQ - Trial Version Questions

Q.: What functional limitations does TestComplete trial version have?

A.: The trial version of TestComplete includes all features available in the registered version, with the following limitations:

TestComplete trial expires in 30 days.
Each project can contain no more than 2 script units.
Each script unit can contain no more than 500 lines.
A project suite can include no more than 6 projects.

Note that TestComplete’s trial version is an Enterprise version. Therefore, the difference between TestComplete’s trial version and TestComplete’s Standard version is significant.

Q.: When I enter the registration information into TestComplete’s trial version, it says that the registration information is invalid and it will not register. What happens?

A.: You cannot register a trial version of the product. To register TestComplete, you should download the commercial version of the product from client services portal and then register it. The client services portal and registration information is specified in the email you received from AutomatedQA. If you did not receive and email from AutomatedQA, please contact our Support department at: support@automatedqa.com.
