TestComplete - AQtime Integration and Coverage Testing
AQtime is a performance profiler and memory and resources debugger for Win32 and .NET applications. Using AQtime you can easily find performance bottlenecks, check the application for memory and resource leaks, and perform coverage analysis. Using special dialogs, you can configure your tested applications in TestComplete, so integration with AQtime does not require writing additional lines of code.
TestComplete supports all profilers of AQtime 4 and 5: Performance, Coverage, Allocation, Resource and others.
Now, when you launch your tested application from TestComplete, the test engine will start AQtime, load the tested application (or AQtime project) in it and run the selected profiler. Then, the engine will continue the test run and will simulate user actions over the application under test.
At the end of the test run you will get two result sets: one in TestComplete and another one in AQtime. A reference to AQtime results is posted to TestComplete’s log.
If you use AQtime’s Coverage profiler, you will be able to easily determine which application areas are covered by your tests.
Of course, TestComplete includes special program objects, using which you can automate AQtime profilers directly from your scripts.
