AutomatedQA’s TestComplete is the only true test automation and management tool for Delphi applications. It is written in Delphi and boasts several industry firsts, especially a uniquely flexible, user-oriented approach. With TestComplete, you test your own way, with scripts or Delphi code written your own way, and test reports organized to your own needs.
TestComplete allows external test scripts to access all onscreen VCL, VCL.NET and CLX elements, with their properties and even their methods. Optionally, it provides access to all published elements of the Delphi application under test, and can give scripts the same access to application internals as the Delphi IDE has, that is, it lets the script code work with published, public, protected and private methods, fields and properties.
Scripts can be recorded or coded in DelphiScript, VBScript, JScript, C++Script or C#Script for replay from TestComplete. Scripts in DelphiScript can also be used for insertion into Delphi source code and they can be coded directly into a Delphi application. TestComplete is an OLE server and can just as easily be run from a Delphi application, as a Delphi application can be run from TestComplete.
