Third-Party Controls Supported by TestComplete

TestComplete, AutomatedQA’s award-winning automated software testing tool, can record and simulate mouse and keyword testing actions on any control of the application UI. TestComplete also provides extended support for the most popular components and standard controls, so that automated testers can record and playback high-level actions on these controls and easily set and retrieve their data.

TestComplete’s object mapping scheme is completely customizable and allows automated testers to map custom or derived control classes to classes that are recognized by TestComplete. Support for custom .NET and WPF controls can also be added by plug-ins created with the TestComplete SDK.
