Background

I have been involved in software testing automation since I graduated from NMetAU. I always dreamt about a career in IT, but I hadn’t heard anything about testing automation before I started working in ISD as a software tester. First I worked with WinRunner, then with SilkTest and finally I started using TestComplete, which is my favorite automation tool now.

From the very beginning of my professional activity, I have endeavoured to share the information that I have with others. I am trying to share my experience, to help others in their learning, and I do enjoy this process. I believe that the best way to learn and improve an individual skills is by teaching, and it seems to work.

As a result, the Automation Testing Service Group company was created in 2007 by my friend Nickolay Kolesnik and myself. On our web site we are sharing our experience in TestComplete, SilkTest and other automation tools. We take real problems and show how to solve or workaround them.

We have already published our first Russian manual on SilkTest and it appears popular in the Russian segment of Internet. Our next step will be full TestComplete handbook, which is already 10% completed. When it is complete, we will see what else we can do for progress of testing automation :).

My hobbies are learning English and European culture, namely literature and cinema. My family is important together with my cat Kiser :).
