Article Submission Guidelines
AutomatedQA creates software development lifecycle products for software developers, testers and managers. We are always looking for interesting and helpful articles related to our products to add to the technical papers section of our website.
Writing for AutomatedQA is a good way to share your experience and knowledge with others and obtain free publicity and exposure for yourself and your business in the process.
Articles should be about software development and quality assurance and should be related to AutomatedQA's products. Articles which use AutomatedQA's products to instruct readers about useful and interesting topics are of special interest. Please confine your article to a single topic. For multiple topics, please send multiple articles.
Here are some suggestions for article topics:
Article Guidelines
Title
The title should be concise, catchy and/or intriguing.
Teaser
Include a short one line (up to 75 word) summary/teaser for your article. This
text will be used to promote the article.
Length
Articles must be at least 500 words in length. There is no maximum length.
Sample Code
We encourage you to include sample code.
Please follow the submisssion guidelines below to properly format code listings.
Images
Screen shots and/or diagrams should be included with your submission
where appropriate. Images should be kept simple without special frames or treatments.
We prefer images with a maximum width of 500 pixels. Please reference the images
in your article text, ie. see figure 1. Interviews and case studies should
include a high resolution head and shoulders jpg of the subject.
Formatting
Articles will be formatted to fit the AutomatedQA website style so
use minimal formatting for your article. Section titles are welcome.
Bold, italic and simple tables are acceptable.
Editing
Submissions may be edited for length, grammar and clarity.
Byline
The author may include a short byline for each article.
The byline may include a web site address, a phone number, and email address.
Copyrighted Content
Articles should be completely original. Avoid including material from
other sources, if possible. The author is responsible for obtaining
any permissions for copyrighted content.
Submission
You don't need to be a professional writer to submit an article for our consideration. We do ask that you proofread, grammar and spell check your story before submission. You shall retain the copyright and be able to publish your content in other locations unless otherwise agreed.

The article will be reviewed and you will be notified if it's published. Please note that all articles must now be submitted through our community site, we are no longer accepting articles as HTML, Word or text files.
